CARNIVAL MEETING

REMINDER: CARNIVAL MEETING: TUESDAY MARCH 9TH @ 5:30 @ INMAN PRIMARY IN MEDIA CENTER! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

January 12th Meeting

Present: Christy Bennett, Leah Mensen, Kelly Maynes, Jen Bruce, Terri Dunn, Shauna Bozwell, Shona Bruno, Melinda Smits, Carol Nielsen, Kim Walford, Nancy Evans and Tracy Vannausdle.

Winners for the PTO BOX TOP collection contest: Winner's were:

Ideas were discussed in regards to next year's trash bag sales. Discussion will continue at the next meeting.

Sign up sheets were passed around to head committees for the Carnival. If you were unable to attend and would like to help on a committee - contact Christy Bennett.

SPECIAL CARNIVAL meeting is Tuesday, March 9th @ 5:30 at Inman Primary - this will be the BIG carnival meeting. Next meeting is Tuesday, March 30th @ 5:30 at Inman.

Minutes of November 10th Meeting

Trash bag sales were discussed. As of right now we have over $7,000.00 out in IOU's. It was discussed to have the principals call the ones who have not returned their money and or trash bags. We don't have numbers as to how much we have made yet, as money is still coming in. The book fair this year went great. PTO gave each student a free book. Thank you notes from students were passed around. The food at conferences were very much appreciated. It was decided that PTO would do a taco bar for the next conferences which is Monday, Feburary 8th. Jessica Brayman, 5th grade teacher at Washington, talked about Donor's Choose. It is a website where anyone can go and donate money to a specific class for specific items that the teacher has chosen for their rooms. It has gone really well so far. There is a link from PTO's website for it. Kelly Maynes showed everyone the website and there was discussion as to what else the PTO would like to see on it - pictures, etc... SAVE YOUR BOXTOPS! There is a contest coming up for all the classrooms at Inman and Washington. Next meeting is Tuesday, January 12th at 5:30 at Inman Primary in the Media Center.
